Foreigner has a brand new career compilation ready to celebrate their 40th anniversary.

Forty Hits From Forty Years (1977 – 2017) includes remastered versions of 38 of Foreigner’s best-known songs along with two newly recorded cuts, I Don’t Want To Live Without You and Give My Life For Love. In addition, there is the first-ever CD release of the song The Flame Still Burns which was included on a vinyl only EP last year. The new set will be out on May 19 via Rhino.

A 23-track double album version of the album will be released on the same date.

The album is sequenced in chronological order and includes almost all of the band’s Hot 100 hits although Break It Up appears here in a live version, Say You Will in an alternate version from the Acoustique album and I Don’t Want to Live Without You in a newly recorded take. The only missing charted hit is Until the End of Time (1994 / #42) from the album Mr. Moonlight.

Why Queen’s Quietest Member John Deacon Chose to Become a Recluse Until This Rare Return

For fans of Queen, John Deacon has long been the enigma of the band, a brilliant musician, masterful songwriter, and humble presence behind the scenes. Since the early 1990s, Deacon has shunned the spotlight, retiring quietly after Freddie Mercury’s death in 1991. But now, years later, he has quietly resurfaced, lending his signature alongside bandmates Roger Taylor and Brian May on a charity auction item, signalling, perhaps, that even the most private of souls can still make their mark in unexpected ways.
