Glee Star Cory Monteith Found Dead In Canada

Glee star Cory Monteith has been found dead in a hotel room in Vancouver.

Monteith was staying at the Pacific Rim Hotel. Hospital staff went to check on him after he missed his 12 noon check-out time and found the star dead in his room.

Vancouver Police have confirmed the body was Monteith.

According to CCTV video footage taken inside the hotel, Monteith returned to his room last night alone and no-one visited the room overnight. Police have confirmed there was no foul play but are yet to announce a cause of death. An overdose is suspected. Cory had a well-documented substance addiction and had been treated for substance abuse over the past decade.

Cory Monteith was 31 years old. He was best known for his role as Finn Hudson in the hit TV series Glee.

Monteith was born in Calgary, Canada in 1982. He was in a relationship with Glee star Lea Michele at the time of his death.
