Glenn Hughes Has Commenced His Classic Deep Purple Live World Tour In Australia

Former Deep Purple guitarist Glenn Hughes is performing a complete set of songs from his classic rock band for the first time ever in Australia.

Hughes kicked off the world tour for Classic Deep Purple Live in Sydney on September20.

While the show focuses around his era with the band (1974, 1975) there is also the occasional early classic.

In the two years Hughes was with Deep Purple the band reinvented itself with three albums ‘Burn’, ‘Stormbringer’ and ‘Come Taste The Band’, all now considered rock classics.
