One-time disco queen Gloria Gaynor has recorded a cover of Bob Dylan’s ‘Man of Peace’ for her upcoming Gospel album ‘Testimony’.

The Dylan version of the song first appeared on his 1983 album ‘Infidels’. Bob has performed the song. Bob has only performed the song 41 times, first in Verona, Italy on 28 May 1984 and most recently in Newcastle, UK on 19 September 2000.

‘Testimony’ is the first album for Gloria Gaynor since 2013. She has released a new song called ‘He Won’t Let Go’ from the album.

Gloria Gaynor released her first single ‘She’ll be Sorry’ in 1965 but it wasn’t until 1974 when she had a Top 10 global smash with ‘Never Can Say Goodbye’.

Her 1978 anthem ‘I Will Survive’ reached no 1 in the USA and no 5 in Australia.

‘Testimony’ will be released on 5 June 2019.
