Gregg Allman Plans Live Solo Dates

Less than a week after putting a cap on his live performance career with the Allman Brothers, Gregg Allman has set a short solo tour.

Joining Allman will be guitarist Scott Sharrard, Peter Levin on keys, drummer Steve Potts, percussionist Marc Quinones, Ron Johnson on bass and horn players Jay Collins, Art Edmaiston and Marc Franklin.

The tour starts New Year’s Eve in Atlanta, GA and continues for a little over two weeks, ending on January 17 in Savannah, GA. All of the shows are concentrated in the southwest, including two-night stands in Athens and Macon, GA and Nashville.

01/13 – Nashville, TN – Ryman Auditorium
01/14 – Nashville, TN – Ryman Auditorium
01/16 – Cherokee, NC – Harrah’s Cherokee
01/17 – Savannah, GA – Johnny Mercer Theatre
