Over the length of their reunion tour, Guns N’ Roses have thrown many covers of other artists’ songs into their sets but the majority have been out of the rock genre.

On Wednesday (August 30) night, the band played Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, AB and outdid themselves with ten different covers including their own recordings of Wings’ “Live and Let Die” and Bob Dylan’s “Knockin’ On Heavens Door” along with the Misfits’ “Attitude”, “Speak Softly Love” from The Godfather, Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here”, James Brown’s “I Feel Good (I Got You)”, Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun”, AC/DC’s “Whole Lotta Rosie” and The Who’s “The Seeker”.

Then there was the true surprise of the night, a salute to the recently passed Glen Campbell with his classic “Wichita Lineman”.
