Ian James, Frank Stivala, Fifa Riccobono Honoured in Queen’s Birthday List

Australian Music Industry innovators Ian James, Frank Stivala and Fifa Riccobono are just some of the name recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for 2019.

Ian and Frank have received the Media of the Order of Australia (OAM) while Fifa has been awarded Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her services to the industry.

Frank Stivala has worked as a booking agent since 1974. He runs Premier Artists and is a director of Frontier Touring.

Ian James was the Managing Director of Mushroom Publishing from 1986 to 2018. He still consults to the company.

Fifa Riccobono rose to become one of the most respected music company executives Australia has ever produced. During her time as CEO of Alberts and prior to that general manager and A&R manager, she drove recording career of AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, The Angels and John Paul Young.

Manager Peter Rix, who at various stages managed Richard Clapton, Jon English, Marcia Hines and Hush, was also awarded the AM as was Guy Sebastian and Erica Bana.

Hugh Jackman received the Companion of the Order of Australia (AM).

Darren Hayes of Savage Garden and David Campbell were also recipients of the OAM.
