Iggy Pop Wax Face Toys Debut

Iggy Pop fans have the chance to jump onto a very limited-edition Iggy toy statue. New toy company Wax Face has created 25 red and 25 blue Iggy’s.

The pose comes from Iggy’s infamous ‘Peanut Butter Incident’ at the Cincinnati Pop Festival in June 1970. During the show a jar of peanut butter magically appeared. Iggy covered himself in the spread while performing his Stooges now classic ‘1970’.

The scene was officially released as part of the Iggy doco ‘Gimme Danger’.

Check out the statues for sale at Wax Face. Oh, and by the way, each figure will cost you $US250.
