Intimate Gary Moore Performance To Be Released

by Tim Cashmere on November 27, 2019

in News

Back in 2009, Gary Moore played an intimate gig to a few hundred fans in London. Now that show is finally going to see the light of day.

Moore’s power-blues took over the 800-capacity Islington Academy in London on December 2, 2009 and showed off tunes spanning his whole career. As a result, his signature song ‘Still Got The Blues’ and others like it can be seen alongside tunes from his then-recent album ‘Bad For Your Baby’.

Only his hit ballad ‘Parisienne Walkways’ made it into the gig that night from his rockin’ debut ‘Back On The Streets’.

Moore was in Spain when he died suddenly of a heart attack in 2011. His girlfriend attempted CPR but was unable to revive him.

Gary Moore: Live From London will be released on January 31, 2020 via Provogue/Mascot Label Group.
