US country star Jaime Wyatt said yes to singing with Australia’s James Van Cooper after a 90 minute Uber ride brought them all together.

Van Cooper and his manager Steve Barr arrived in LA and tracked down Jaime. She was touring with Shooter Jennings and performing in Huntington Beach that night, so a 90 minute Uber ride got them there.

Wyatt had never heard of Van Cooper but a swift talking manager go her interested to say yes to singing on a sing she had never heard before by a guy she didn’t know.

“She said yes,” says Van Cooper, “and made the song what it is today. She saved the song.”

‘Come Home’ is track three on Van Cooper’s debut album ‘Coming Home’.
