Jason Bonham will bring the music of his father John Bonham’s band to life in Australia in January 2018 with JBLZE (Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience).

The show has the endorsement of Jimmy Page who said, “Jason was absolutely monumental in his performance and his playing. From the very first rehearsal right through to the O2 –his knowledge of what made Zeppelin tick musically was incredible – it was wonderful to work with him and communicate musically with him. Nobody else could have done it.”

“This is my story. It’s what my Dad and Led Zeppelin meant to me” says Jason. “It’s become more than just me playing the songs. The audience are as strong a part of it as anything” he says. “You see generations of different people at the show, from kids to their grandfathers – people that saw them back in the day. It’s been a fantastic journey”

General public sales start 16 October.

Leo Sayer Shares His Thoughts on The Passing of Sly Stone

There really is a riot going on right now, so what a poignant moment it seems to be to lose a hero I never met, yet a man I often imagined as my soul brother. I worked with many of his alumni (including the man who helped invent him, fellow San Fran disk jockey Tom Donahue), and to say they and he inspired me would be a useless understatement.
