Jet To Reform For Bruce Springsteen

Jet will reform to open for Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band on Bruce’s 2017 Summer Tour.

Nic Cester, Chris Cester, Cameron Muncey and Mark Wilson formed Jet in Melbourne in 2001.

The debut Jet album ‘Get Born’ was released in 2003. It reached no 1 in Australia generating sales of over 600,000. The album also sold over 1,000,000 in the USA.

Album two, ‘Shine On’ in 2006, peaked at no 3 and Australia and no 16 in the USA.

Jet’s final show was November 13, 2010 in Brisbane. Jet officially announced their split in 2012 announcing on March 26:

A Message To Our Fans: After many successful years of writing, recording and touring we wish to announce our discontinuation as a group. From the many pubs, theatres, stadiums and festivals all across the world it was the fans that made our amazing story possible and we wish to thank them all. Thank you, and goodnight.”

The Springsteen shows will be the first shows for Jet since the Brisbane show six years ago.
