John Fogerty To Close SXSW

Creedence Clearwater Revival legend John Fogerty has been announced to officially close SXSW 2013.

Fogerty will be in Austin to perform as part of Dave Grohl’s Sound City Players and he will also launch his next album ‘Wrote A Song For Everyone’ at the music festival and conference.

John Fogerty will perform on Saturday, March 16 at ACL Live at the Moody Theater on Willie Nelson Blvd in Austin, Texas.

Other artists on the bill include Bobby Bare Sr, Wheller Brothers, Junior Brown and True Believers.

Expect some surprise guests during the Fogerty set.

The new John Fogerty album ‘Wrote A Song For Everyone’ features John reclaiming his old CCR songs as duets with Foo Fighters, Kid Rock, Keith Urban and others.

The album will be released on Vanguard Records towards the end of May.
