John Mellencamp New Music ‘Easy Target’

by Roger Wink, VVN Music on January 24, 2017

in News

John Mellencamp has released his first new music in 2-1/2 years with the new song Easy Target.

Continuing Mellencamp’s long tradition of politically inspired music, John’s site states “Easy Target is John’s reflection on the state of our country. An outspoken artist, Mellencamp continues his journey to convey the truth through this passionate and plain-spoken son.”

Here, Mellencamp plays it low-key, sounding more like Bob Dylan or Tom Waits instead of his usual style.
