Jon English Public Memorial Planned For Monday April 4

A public memorial to honour the life and talent of Jon English will be held at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre in April 4.

The Capitol Theatre was the venue where Australian’s were introduced to Jon English in the 1972 production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Jon played Judas. The show launched his career.

The Jon English memorial will be open to Jon’s fans and everyone in the music industry. The event will celebrate his achievements.

Jon’s family thanks Stephen Found for making the Capitol Theatre available for such a special occasion. Paul Dellit will co-ordinate the production and Simon Gallaher, Jon’s long time producer and friend will also arrange rthe production.

The Jon English Memorial
VENUE: Capitol Theatre, 13 Campbell Street, Haymarket, Sydney
TIME: 4:30pm for 5pm start

Everyone is welcome.
