Wilson released his debut album Gentle Spirit in 2011, after years working with artists like Erykah Badu, Elvis Costello, Wilco and The Black Crowes.

It encapsulates his affection for LA’s sepia-toned ‘60s and 70’s folk scene and early psychedelic rock, halfway between Harvest and Dark Side Of The Moon.

Wilson brings his vintage tunes to Australia for the first time in September, with a full band. Tickets are available now from the venue in Melbourne, MoshTix for Sydney and brisbanefestival.com.au for his two Spiegeltent shows in Brisbane.

Jonathon Wilson Tour 2012
Friday 14 September – The Corner, Melbourne
Saturday 15 September – The Standard, Sydney
Sunday 16 and Monday 17 September – Spiegeltent, Brisbane
