Kate Ceberano To Release First Album Of Original Songs In A Decade In 2013

Kate Ceberano will ring in the New Year with her first album of original material in 2013.

Kate’s last album of new music was ‘The Girl Can Help It’ in 2003.

After that came the jazz album ’19 Days In New York’ (2004) then ‘Live’ with the West Australian Orchestra (2006), the covers albums ‘Nine Lime Avenue’ (2007) and ‘So Much Beauty’ (2008), more jazz covers ‘Bittersweet’ (2009) and then ‘Merry Christmas’ (2010).

The new Kate Ceberano album will be released early 2013.

Meanwhile, Kate picked up a nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role from the Sydney Theatre Awards for her performance of Bloody Mary in the current Australian production of South Pacific.

South Pacific has just finished in Melbourne and will open next in Brisbane on December 27, 2012.
