Lil Wayne Reports Are False Says Slim Williams

Cash Money co-founder Ron ‘Slim’ Williams has confirmed that rapper Lil Wayne is in hospital but that media reports that he was in a coma were false.

“I don’t know where they are getting their information from,” Williams told radio station Cube in Seattle.

Williams was at the hospital with Wayne and reported that he was sitting up and watching a basketball game on TV. “He’s straight. They’ll probably let him go tomorrow,” Slim said.

On Friday TMZ reported that Lil Wayne was in hospital in Los Angeles in an induced coma after being found unconscious at his home on Wednesday.

“He’s alright and he’s chilling,” said Slim.
