Angry Anderson has recruited a new Rose Tattoo line-up, which now merges the sounds of AC/DC and The Angels into The Tatts.

Former AC/DC bass player Mark Evans is the new bass player, former Angels and Skyhooks guitarist Bob Spencer is on guitar. John ‘Watto’ Watson is the bands drummer and Dai Pritchard remains on slide guitar since 2007.

Bob revealed the new Rose Tattoo line-up at his Facebook page:

With Rose Tattoo, The Angels and AC/DC being rolled into one the rock legacy of their original label Albert Productions continues. Rose Tattoo recorded four albums for Alberts between 1978 and 1984. The Angels were an Alberts band for three albums from 1977 to 1979 (although Spencer didn’t join the band until 1986). AC/DC are still on Alberts. Evans was with AC/DC for four albums (an arguably their best) from 1975 to 1977.

Leo Sayer Shares His Thoughts on The Passing of Sly Stone

There really is a riot going on right now, so what a poignant moment it seems to be to lose a hero I never met, yet a man I often imagined as my soul brother. I worked with many of his alumni (including the man who helped invent him, fellow San Fran disk jockey Tom Donahue), and to say they and he inspired me would be a useless understatement.
