Meghan Trainor has already turned to new boyfriend Daryl Sabara for inspiration, revealing the couple has written three songs together.

The grown-up child star, who appeared in the Spy Kids movies, is also a singer and songwriter, who, like his girlfriend, loves Justin Timberlake.

And the new couple has already turned its romance into a musical match-up.

The All About That Bass singer tells Netflix chat show host Chelsea Handler, “He plays guitar and piano and sings to me all the time. We sing Justin Timberlake all the time.

“On tour, we wrote, like, three songs together.”

The couple has been largely inseparable since mutual pal Chloe Grace Moretz set them up this summer (16), and actor Sabara joined Meghan on tour in Europe.

During the trek, she posted a photo of herself and her boyfriend in Spain and revealed she was in love with Daryl, who was backstage when she taped her chat with Chelsea, which will air on Netflix on Wednesday (26Oct16).

Meanwhile, the singer also confessed she often struggles with songs and turns to friends to help her complete them.

“Sometimes I’ll have my best friend, who’s my personal assistant, help me rhyme one word with another, and now she has writing credits on my album. I always need help.”

Meghan recently gushed about her guy during an Entertainment Tonight interview, during which she revealed they were set up on a date by Moretz, stating, “He’s great!”
