The Rolling Stones Sydney show for this Wednesday looks certain to go ahead after Hanging Rock outside Melbourne was cancelled on Saturday.

When Noise11.com caught up with the Rolling Stones musical director and keyboard player Chuck Leavell, Chuck told us that Mick Jagger was “improving” and that Sydney should go ahead. (The Chuck Leavell interview is coming to Noise11 soon).

A good sign that Mick Jagger is on the mend is the Sydney song request page going live on the Rolling Stones website today.

The songs Sydney fans can now vote for are:

Live With Me (from Beggars Banquet, 1968)
Let It Bleed (from Let It Bleed, 1969)
Rocks Off (from Exile On Main Street, 1972)
Sweet Virginia (from Exile On Main Street, 1972)
