Muse will return to Australia in December for Melbourne and Sydney shows only after very humble beginnings in Australia.

Muse last played Australia in 2013 on ‘The 2nd Law’ tour where they performed two shows at Melbourne’s 14, 820 capacity Rod Laver Arena.

The band played their first Australian shows in 2000 performing in pubs like Melbourne’s Evelyn Hotel (capacity 350).

For the 2004 tour they upsized to the Hi-Fi Bar (capacity 1000). In January of 2007 they arrived at Festival Hall (5445) but were back in November 2007 playing Rod Laver Arena (capacity 14,820).

In 2010 Muse were one of the headliners for Big Day Out in January and back in December for another Rod Laver Arena. For the 2013 tour, they performed two Rod Laver Arena shows.

Australia was bypassed in the 2015 Psycho Tour. We are getting the ass-end of the Drones World Tour which began in 2015.

Muse dates

December 16, Sydney, Qudos Arena
December 18, Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena
