Paul Williams To Speak At SXSW

Legendary songwriter Paul Williams has been a last minute addition as a speaker for SXSW.

Williams’ songs include ‘We’ve Only Just Begun’ and ‘Rainy Days and Mondays’ for The Carpenters, ‘Evergreen’ for Barbara Streisand and ‘Rainbow Connection’ for The Muppets.

Now 71-years old, Williams has written song for music’s greatest hits. His other songs include ‘Just An Old Fashioned Love Song’ for Three Dog Night’ and ‘You And Me Against The World’ for Helen Reddy.

He is also the current President of ASCAP.

Williams will sit down with filmmaker Stephen Kessler for a conversation at the Austin Convention Center on March 14.
