Pearl Jam Go Live For 2018

by Paul Cashmere on March 28, 2018

in News

Pearl Jam have played a series of shows in South America this week, their first for 2018.

The new, live activity has seen the live debut of ‘Can’t Deny Me’ from the yet to be named 11th Pearl Jam studio album.

‘Can’t Deny Me’ was dedicated to the students of Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

Pearl Jam’s last album ‘Lightning Bolt’ (2013) was represented with a couple of tracks, the title track and ‘Mind Your Manners’.

‘Come Back’ was dedicated to Chris Cornell.

Pearl Jam have made The Who’s ‘Baby O’Reilly’ their own over the years. Wayne Cochran’s ‘Last Kiss’ became a hit for the band off a Christmas single in 1998. Victoria Williams’ ‘Crazy Mary’ has been a constant in the set for over 20 years and Pink Floyd’s ‘Comfortably Numb’ has slipped in and out of the set over the past three years.
