In September 2011, Ray moved to Berlin and started work on ‘Sketches’. The album will feature 12 songs recorded over 12 months with each song released each month until the album is complete.

The first three songs were released as the digital EP ‘Sketches Vol 1’ and a 200 run limited edition physical disc was also pressed.

‘Sketches Vol 2’ will follow in coming months and then ‘Vol 3’ is being prepped for a mid-year release.

The new music is released on the third of every month as audio and video and streamed on Vimeo.

Ray describes the project as an experiment in music. “Sketches is not an Album
… but it might be one day,” he says. “In the meantime, it’s an experiment in releasing music, making art, and connection between me and you. I’ll be working this out as I go along, and I hope to work this out with you – like a Q & A where we both suggest answers”.
