Roger Waters, the creative genius behind Pink Floydis set to bring his masterpiece, Roger Waters’ The Wall, to cinemas across the globe in September.

The Wall Live – the biggest worldwide tour by any solo artist in history – now comes to cinemas as a groundbreaking concert film, written and directed by Roger Waters and Sean Evans. Described by critics as “nothing short of breath-taking” and “visually magnificent,” Roger Waters’ The Wall had its premiere at last year’s Toronto Film Festival.

The film unfolds on many levels, as an immersive concert experience of the classic Pink Floyd album, a road movie of Waters’ reckoning with the past and as a stirring anti-war film, highlighting the human cost of conflict. The event on Tuesday, September 29 also features The Simple Facts; an exclusive in-conversation with Roger Waters and Nick Mason, where the Pink Floyd rhythm section will reunite over the breaking of bread and the answering of questions sent in by fans.

Roger Waters’ The Wall was shot in 4K and mixed in Dolby Atmos during Waters’ sold-out 2010-2013 The Wall Live tour, seen by over 4 million fans worldwide, featuring never before seen concert footage from this breathtaking tour, including the hits Another Brick in the Wall Part 2, Comfortably Numb and Run Like Hell.

Roger Waters said, “I hope these world wide screenings this coming 29th September will be a good opportunity to remember, not just our fallen loved ones, but all the other guys fallen loved ones. Ashes and diamonds foe and friend we were all equal in the end.”
