Dallas Crane, The Hitman and Palace of the King are a few of the bands that will open for Rose Tattoo’s 2018 Blood Brothers tour across Australia.

The Tatts will tour the country starting on 31 March 2018 in Albury before heading to Europe for most of June.

“Hitmen have been fighting the war against the jive alongside our Comrades Rose Tattoo since the late 70’s and have shared many a stage across the mighty beer barns of Australia,” says Johnny Kannis. “We’re now happy to be reuniting once again in an exciting period of our career where we’ve just released our new mini album “Six Pistols. We’re ready!”

Dallas Crane were former label-mates of Rose Tattoo. “Sharing the Alberts label with Rose Tattoo and AC/DC was on thing, but sharing the stage with the awesome power of the Tatts puts a pretty large tick on 2018 already for Dallas Crane,” they said.

Angry Anderson clocked up 40 years as Rose Tattoo lead singer in 2016. The 2018 line-up is a who’s who of Australian rock with Bob Spencer (The Angels, Skyhooks), Mark Evans (AC/DC) and John ‘Watto’ Watson (Australian Crawl) part of the new band. Dai Pritchard has been a part of the Tatts line-up for over a decade.

Leo Sayer Shares His Thoughts on The Passing of Sly Stone

There really is a riot going on right now, so what a poignant moment it seems to be to lose a hero I never met, yet a man I often imagined as my soul brother. I worked with many of his alumni (including the man who helped invent him, fellow San Fran disk jockey Tom Donahue), and to say they and he inspired me would be a useless understatement.
