Russell Morris, Mike Nock To Perform At Wangaratta Jazz & Blues Festival

The line-up for the 24th Wangaratta Jazz & Blues Festival has been revealed with Russell Morris and Jazz Bell Award winner Mick Nock on a list of artists from Australia, USA, The Netherlands, Norway, Belgium and Austria.

The Wangaratta Jazz & Blues Festival will be held in November.

Russell Morris will perform at the festival as his ‘Sharkmouth’ album becomes one of the biggest selling albums of the year in Australia. ‘Sharkmouth’ has passed 50,000 sales in Australia and will end the year as one of the Top 20 biggest sellers of 2013.

The legendary Mike Nock is one of Australia’s most respected jazz musicians. In 2009 Mike Nick was inducted into Australia’s Jazz Hall of Fame at the Jazz Bell Awards.

For overseas, Gerald Clayton Trio, Paul Bollenback and Ugonna Okewgwo, Old Gray Mule and Charlie Parr are from the USA, Peter O’Mara is from Austria, Jef Neve is from Belguim and Froy Aagre is from Norway.

The 2013 Wangaratta Jazz & Blues Festival will be held from November 1-4 in Wangaratta, Victoria.
