Flamboyant New York popsters Scissor Sisters will be joined by rock legends The Living End and comeback kid Gotye to top the bill (so far).

Then there’s rap icon Grandmaster Flash, local folk sensation Boy And Bear, rap chart-topper Drapht, Sydney indie globetrotters Cloud Control, local electro favorite Muscles and US electro favourite Spank Rock.

Perth’s beloved act The Panics join the bill, with Cali rap prankster Lyrics Born, hip-hop juggernaut The Herd, punk chicks Dum Dum Girls, and another Oz hip-hop rising star Illy.

Add to that Salmonella Dub, Bertie Blackman, Jonathon Boulet, Ash Grunwald, LA’s Hanni El Khatib, The Bamboos, Calling All Cars, Grace Woodroofe, Graveyard Train, Tim & Jean, The Aston Shuffle, Jim Ward (Sparta, At The Drive-In), Thundamentals, Owl Eyes, Split Seconds, and French Horn Rebellion and we’ve got a monster first block.

Early bird ticket-holders also get access to a special Rockwiz event happening on Thursday December 29.

Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 14 September from 9pm and the Philip Island fest runs from Thursday 29 December 2011 to Sunday 1 January 2012.
