Scott Ian Complies His Top 20 AC/DC Songs

by Paul Cashmere on August 20, 2018

in News

Scott Ian of Anthrax has put together his AC/DC Top 20 list and demonstrated a pretty good argument for favouring Bon over Brian.

Out of Scott’s 20 songs, 18 were Bon Scott songs. Scott is clearly influenced by Highway To Hell. Six of the 20 tracks were from that album, followed by ‘Powerage, ‘Let There Be Rock’, ‘Back and Black’ and ‘TNT’* and ‘Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap’.

(*In the USA, the bastardised version of ‘TNT’ and ‘High Voltage’ was shrunken into one release called ‘High Voltage’).

Scott Ian by the albums:

Highway To Hell 6
Powerage 5
Let There Be Rock 4
Back In Black 2
TNT 2
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap 1

James Taylor Farewells Australia With Final Tour (Melbourne Review)

I could go to a James Taylor show just for the stories. The man is a part of music history and is still around to tell the tales of how it all began. Like, for instance, being the first artist signed to Apple Records. James “auditioned” for Apple with his song ‘Something In The Way She Moves’. "Paul went away and started the label and George went away and wrote the song”, he said.
