It has been more than ten years since Simple Minds set foot on North American shores for the purpose of a tour. That drought comes to an end starting October 15 at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.

The short, seven date tour is their first since 2002’s trek in support of the album Cry.

The dates:

  • 10/15 – Los Angeles, CA – Orpheum Theatre
  • 10/17 – Red Bank, NJ – Count Basie Theatre
  • 10/18 – Washington, DC – 9:30 Club
  • 10/20 – Boston, MA – Wilbur Theatre
  • 10/21 – Montreal, QC – Metropolis
  • 10/22 – Toronto, ON – Massey Hall
  • 10/24 – New York, NY – Roseland Ballroom
Simple Minds is currently made up of original members Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill, Mel Gaynor (who joined in 1982), Andy Gillespie (2002) and Ged Grimes (2010). Their U.S. hits include Don’t You (Forget About Me), Alive and Kicking, Sanctify Yourself and All the Things She Said.
