When David Roy Williams toured Steve Hackett in Australia in 2017 Steve vowed to return after a series of successful Genesis Revisited shows.

Steve Hackett was lead guitarist for Genesis from 1971 to 1977. His 2017 tour featured the music of Genesis from the period he was with the band. In 2020, he will be back, performing the entire 1973 Genesis album ‘Selling England By The Pound’.

“I’m excited to bring my Genesis Revisited show back to Australia. It was fantastic to play there last time and to visit that amazing country. This time will be a special show, including the whole of Genesis album Selling England by the Pound, celebrating my solo album Spectral Mornings 40th anniversary, plus more! I can’t wait!”

‘Selling England By The Pound’ was the fifth studio album from Genesis. At this point Peter Gabriel was still lead singer of the band and Phil Collins the drummer.

Why Queen’s Quietest Member John Deacon Chose to Become a Recluse Until This Rare Return

For fans of Queen, John Deacon has long been the enigma of the band, a brilliant musician, masterful songwriter, and humble presence behind the scenes. But now, years later, he has quietly resurfaced, lending his signature alongside bandmates Roger Taylor and Brian May on a charity auction item, signalling, perhaps, that even the most private of souls can still make their mark in unexpected ways.
