Taking Back Sunday To Perform Their Classic Albums In Australia

in News

Taking Back Sunday will celebrate their 20 years together by performing their first three albums across Australia in 2019.

New York’s Taking Back Sunday formed in 1999 and released their first album ‘Tell All Your Friends’ in 2002. It wasn’t that big, only reached no 183 on the Billboard chart and not charting outside America but the album set the band up for the sound they still fuel today.

The second album ‘Where You Want To Be’ was the breakthrough album in the USA, reaching no 3 in the USA and then started to break in the UK at 71.

The third album ‘Louder Now’ was the global hit. It reached no 2 in the USA, no 18 in the UK and gave Taking Back Sunday their first Australian hit at no. 17.

‘Louder Now’ and ‘Tell All Your Friends’ will be played at the first shows in Sydney and Brisbane as well as the Adelaide and Melbourne gigs.

The second shows in Sydney and Brisbane will have ‘Where You Want To Be’ instead of ‘Louder Now’.
