Tame Impala Set European Summer Dates

Tame Impala have announced further UK shows this summer, following on from recent news of their T In The Park, Benicassim and Latitude sets and London Arctic Monkeys support slots.

The Aussie psych troupe head up North for the following UK July dates:

Sat 12th July Manchester Albert Hall
Mon 14th July Birmingham Institute
Tues 15th July Nottingham Rock City

This is in addition to news last week of their 22nd May Oxford 02 Academy show, warming up for Tame Impala’s main support slot for Arctic Monkey’s huge 50, 000 capacity shows at Finsbury Park 23rd and 24th May. Full details of the whole summer UK and European run are below.

Over the past year Tame Impala have been touring the globe in support of their universally lauded second album ‘Lonerism’, mesmerizing fans from Brazil to LA and Japan with their transcendent psych pop. Grammy nominations, Glastonbury performances and Flaming Lips collaborations aside, the latest episode in Tame Impala’s story came in the shape of the ‘Divergent’ soundtrack, with the band collaborating with Kendrick Lamar for a unique version of ‘Feels Like We Only Go Backwards’.
