The Bamboos recently delivered the first single ‘I Got Burned’, featuring Tim Rogers of You Am I, and now they reveal details on the forthcoming album Medicine Man.

Medicine Man is the band’s fifth album and band leader Lance Ferguson said in a press release “I’m proud of the arc of the evolution of the band and I think it’s a natural progression of song writing. We still wear our influences on our sleeves, but it’s definitely music for now.”

The album features a seriously impressive selection of guest vocalists, including international soul sensation Aloe Blacc, Megan Washington, Daniel Merriweather, ex-Idol alum Bobby Flynn, as well as regular guest Kylie Auldist and new member Ella Thompson.

Medicine Man will be released on June 1 through Inertia. Check out the sultry reworking of James Blake’s ‘The Wilhelm Scream’ featuring Megan Washington below.
