The Darkness Featuring Rufus Tiger Taylor To Tour Australia

The Darkness will return to Australia in November but this time for the first time with their new drummer Rufus Tiger Taylor.

Taylor is the son of Roger Taylor of Queen and toured Australia as part of his dad’s band on the Queen + Adam Lambert tour. He performed the drum battle with his father at the Queen concerts.

Tiger really is Taylor’s middle name. He was given the name by Queen singer Freddie Mercury.

Taylor joined The Darkness in May following the departure of Emily Dolan Davies, who plays drums on the new album ‘Last Of Our Kind’.
