Violent Femmes have a new album on the way and its only their third album of the 21st Century.

‘Hotel Last Resort’ is the 10th album for the Violent Femmes and this one includes the title track with Television’s Tom Verlaine.

“I don’t change the chords anymore/the chords change by themselves,” Gordan Gano sings kicking off the song.

Professional skateboarder Stefan Janoski features on another track ‘I’m Nothing’.

‘Hotel Last Resort’ comes two years after Violent Femmes reunion album ‘We Can Do Anything’. The previous album was ‘Freak Magnet’ in 2000.

Violent Femmes officially broke up in 2009 following two years of legal disputes over Gordon Gano’s sale of their classic ‘Blister In The Sun’ to Wendy’s for a commercial. They reformed in 2013 for a performance at Coachella.

‘Hotel Last Resort’ will be released on 26 July, 2019.
