Metallica’s ‘Through The Never’ concert-film is out now and to commemorate the occasion the band have unveiled a new performance of their classic, ‘One’.
The film, available on DVD, Blu-Ray, 3D Blu-Ray, digitally and via video on demand services, is a different take on your typical concert DVD. At it’s heart it is a live-performance film, but the twist is that it is interspersed with a film the follows a young roadie (Dane DeHaan) who is on a mission and trying to escape the apocalypse.
The new footage for ‘One’, was taken directly from the film, and acts as a little taster for what is one of the most elaborate and forward thinking live-performance films ever made.
The film, directed by Nimród Antal (Vacancy, Predators) features 24 cameras, cutting-edge 3D photography, and the supreme pyrotechnics show we have come to expect from the legends of metal.
