Sydney trio RÜFÜS have teased fans with a brand new song called ‘You Were Right’ ahead of an Australian then USA tour.

The title for the second RÜFÜS album is still a secret but the album title and release date will be announced in coming weeks.

First up is a video for the track ‘You Were Right’. We worked with long time collaborator Katzki, who also happens to be my brother and has done every one of our videos,” explains keys player Jon George. “The video is about a feeling. It’s the anticipation of a single moment and waiting for that moment of euphoria.”

The tour will kick off in Brisbane in October. “We started the band just wanting to be able to play shows to our friends at parties, so to now be able to announce a tour that takes us all around Australia and to the other side of the Pacific to some of the most amazing cities in North America is amazing. We’ve been working so hard trying to put together an album of songs that we would want to hear, we’re very close to finished with the album and looking forward to get out there on a big stage playing these new songs to people for the first time. The reaction to You Were Right has been great, we’re excited to share the rest of the record with people.”
