Watch Sharon Jones ‘Please Come Home For Christmas’ Claymation Video

by Roger Wink, VVN Music on December 21, 2016

We have lost so, so many great musical artists in 2016, a list of names that threatens to bury one of the most talented, Sharon Jones.

Jones died in November after a long bout of cancer, leaving behind a catalogue of six studio albums including her last album, 2015’s It’s a Holiday Soul Party.

One of the cuts from that album, their cover of Charles Brown’s Please Come Home For Christmas, has been turned into an animated video using the Claymation technique, a method that has been around since the early 1900’s but is probably best known from Gumby and the California Raisins advertisements.
