Whitney Houston was found dead in her hotel room at the Beverly Hills Hilton it has been revealed.

Whitney was in Los Angeles to perform at Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammy party in the same hotel today.

Beverly Hills fire department and police were called to the hotel at 3:43pm (Saturday, February 11, 2012). She was officially pronounced dead at 3:55pm California time.

Police do not suspect foul play. Cause of death cannot be confirmed at this stage.

Whitney will be seen later this year in the movie ‘Sparkle’ alongside Jordin Sparks. It will premiere on August 10.
