John Lodge, bassist, singer and songwriter for The Moody Blues, has died aged 82. From Days of Future Passed to I’m Just a Singer (In a Rock and Roll Band), Lodge’s music helped define the sound of symphonic rock. His passing closes the final chapter of one of rock’s most visionary groups.
