Australian soul singer WILSN has released her long-awaited second album Bloom, recorded in New York City with members of Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Thee Sacred Souls and Charles Bradley's band. The album captures the timeless warmth of late-60s soul while declaring a bold new chapter in the Melbourne artist's career.

Melbourne soul powerhouse WILSN has dropped one final track before her new album Bloom lands on 17 October, and it’s a spicy one. The new single, Big Star, is a playful, tongue-in-cheek dig at an ex who thought he was rock’n’roll royalty – even while still living at home, driving Dad’s car and getting dinner made for him.

Bloom are stepping into new territory with their latest single Tongue Tied, a haunting and heartfelt duet featuring Mikaila Delgado from Yours Truly. The track drops ahead of the band’s second album The Light We Chase, set for release 31 October through Pure Noise Records.

Melbourne/Naarm-based soul singer WILSN (aka Shannon Busch) has announced her second album, Bloom, set for release on 17 October 2025. Alongside the announcement comes the release of her heartfelt new single ‘GIRL’, an ode to the bonds of female friendship.

Anna Oliphant Wright, Birdhouse, Bloom and Tempus Sun are the four acts competing for the 2016 Melbourne Music Bank prize.
