Legendary guitar hero Al Di Meola will return to Ausrralia for his first shows in over 40 years in October.
Al Di Meola was 19 when he joined Return to Forever with Chick Corea and Stanley Clarke and played his first gig at Carnegie Hall, NYC. He recently released his Beatles tribute album ‘Across The Universe’ and revisited the brilliant Friday Night In San Francisco (with John McLaughlin and Pace de Lucia) with a release of the following night called ‘Saturday Night In San Francisco)’ from the original 1981 recordings.
