2023 would have marked the 50th anniversary of The Saints a: if they were all alive and b: were still talking.

Ed Kuepper lived through The Saints, into Laughing Clowns and for a while The Aints as well as a catalogue of solo work that marks the birth of indie and alternative rock in Australia.

In coming years, Ed will curate the reissue of his entire Laughing Clowns, Aints and solo work with two albums ‘Electrical Storm’ (1985) and ‘Honey Steel’s Gold’ (1991) out now to kickstart the reissues.

Ed will also tour Australia in September 2023 with a setlist based around the two albums.

Ed Kuepper spoke to Noise11’s Paul Cashmere.
