Simple Plan formed in Quebec, Canada more than a decade ago. There have been four studio albums and a couple of live ones, the most recent is 2011’s ‘Get Your Heart On.

‘No Pads, No Helmets … Just Balls’ dropped the band worldwide in 2002. Mark Hoppus of Blink 182 and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte contributed to the record. It sold 2 million in America.

In 2004, Still Not Getting Any clocked up another million sales for the band.

‘Get Your Heart On’ was the first album since the first album to feature collaborations. Rivers Cuomo, Natasha Beddingfield, K’naan and Alex Gaskarth help out on this one.

Andrew Tijs spoke with Chuck Coeau and Sebastien Lefebvre
