When alt-rockers The Getaway Plan broke up in 2009 they played massive farewell shows. In 2011 they returned even bigger.

Melbourne four-piece bid a sad farewell to their fans in 2009 after a top twenty debut album, but they couldn’t stay gone for long. In 2011 they reunited and released their second album, Requiem, which also hit the top twenty.

Matt and Clint from the band talk about the forces that separated them, and drew them back together, their side projects in the break, their triumphant new album, forthcoming Big Day Out shows and more.
