George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic will open for Red Hot Chili Peppers for the Australian tour.

George Clinton was a major influence on early Red Hot Chili Peppers with the early Chili Peppers sounds evolving out of the footprint Clinton created in the previous decade.

77-year old George Clinton will tour with the Chili Peppers throughout February and March and then do a series of his own shows in April (including Bluesfest) as a farewell tour of Australia before he retires*.
