A statement from Parklife explains that that ‘Lights Out’ singer has left the tour and headed back to London.

They write, “Katy absolutely loved playing Parklife Melbourne and Perth over the weekend and was touched by the fantastic support shown to her on these two performances, her first in Australia.

“She is extremely sad to leave the tour and wishes Example, Magnetic Man, Nero, Gossip, Santigold and all the other incredible acts she was appearing alongside, all the best for the shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide this coming weekend.

“Lastly, Katy B wishes to apologise to all of her Australian fans and promises she will be back very soon.”

There won’t be a replacement for her, but set times will be moved to accommodate her slot. You can check the new set times for the Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide shows at the Parklife site here.
