Lime Cordiale Kicks Off Day Two Of Deni Blues and Roots Festival

Sydney’s Lime Cordiale has opened day two of the inaugural Deni Blues and Roots Festival in Deniliquin, New South Wales.

Lime Cordiale, featuring the Leimbach brothers Oli and Louis, Brendan Champion and James Jennings, with new member Tim Fitz, have been building their name since forming in 2009. They launched their debut EP in July 2012.

The band has played on Homebake and the Peats Ridge Festival. Lime Cordiale have also toured with The Specials, Cosmo Jarvis and Ball Park Music. Last year they showcased at the BigSound music conference in Brisbane.

The line-up for Day Two of Deni Blues and Roots Festival is:

1:00pm – Howlin’ Steam Train
1:45pm – Morgan Evans
2:30pm – Dirt River Radio
3:15pm – Jimmy Cliff
4:30pm – Chris Russell’s Chicken Walk
5:00pm – Steve Miller Band
6:30pm – Ward’s Express
7:15pm – Santana
8:45pm – Collard, Greens & Gravy
9:45pm – Status Quo

Yesterday, Melbourne band Howlin’ Steam Train officially became the first band ever to perform at a Deni Blues and Roots Festival. The line-up for day one also featured international acts Zac Brown Band, Jason Mraz, Bonnie Raitt, Newton Faulkner, Tony Joe White and Chris Issak.
